Each rose cut moss agate is your own mini green garden. The leaves are handmade impressions from the leaves of a verbena in my yard. The surface is polished and oxidized to show the detail of the leaves.
Moss agate is made of silicon dioxide and chalcedony with emerald ores incorporated in the crystal’s hue. The green dots in the gemstone give it its identity, and they all mimic natural components, moss in particular. These hues are created by a minute quantity of metallic particles, such as iron or chrome.
